This is the big one. Leveling got a full rebuild, the blog got a new look, the community features (birthdays, giveaways, temporary voice, AI memory and a much deeper economy) are all live, and the security side got faster and smarter. Everything below keeps the same Shark look: Components V2 panels, the shark_* emojis, and the honeypot-style layout.

π Leveling V2
Leveling is now fully built around modern Discord components, and almost everything can be configured from a panel instead of typing commands.
The Level Up! card
- Level-ups now post a clean "Level Up!" card instead of a plain line of text.
- The message is yours to customize. Use these variables anywhere in it:
{user}pings the member{username}their name without a ping{level}the level they just reached{xp}their total XP{server}your server name{rank}their current server rank- When the level unlocks a reward role, the card shows it right under the message.
- Prefer the old look? Switch the style to plain text and it sends a normal message with the same variables.
- Level-ups go to the channel you pick. If you never picked one, they go where the member leveled up. If the chosen channel was deleted, Shark falls back to the current channel instead of staying silent.
- Server names with odd characters can no longer break the message.
/level profile card
- Shows level, XP, progress bar, server rank, total XP, next reward and your earn rate, with your avatar next to your name.
- Three buttons sit under every card:
- Profile is your card
- Leaderboard is the server top list with Previous and Next
- Rewards lists every reward role, marked β unlocked or π locked, with the XP still needed
/levelreplies are private, so they never spam a channel. Moving between Profile, Leaderboard and Rewards edits that same private message in place.- The public
/leaderboardhas the same tab buttons. Pressing Profile or Rewards there opens a private view for whoever pressed it, so nobody can hijack the shared message. - Looking up another member works the same way, and the buttons keep showing that member.
Admin control panel: /leveling panel
Anyone with Manage Server can run everything from one panel. /leveling status opens the same panel, and the original subcommands (rate, levelup, enable, disable) still work.
Main page
- XP gain, Announcements and Style (Card / Text) are one-tap toggles that show their current state.
- XP & Cooldown opens a form with five fields: minimum XP, maximum XP, cooldown in seconds, XP multiplier and minimum message length.
- Edit Message opens a form for the level-up text. Leave it empty and it restores the default.
- Preview shows you exactly what a level-up will look like, privately and without pinging anyone.
- A channel menu picks where level-ups are announced, and Announce in same channel clears it. Shark checks it can actually send there before accepting a channel.
Role Rewards page
- Pick a role from a menu, then type the level that unlocks it.
- Remove a reward from a dropdown.
- Shark refuses roles it can't give (managed roles, @everyone, or roles above Shark's own) and tells you why.
- Your plan's reward limit is shown and enforced.
Filters & Anti-spam page
- Choose channels and categories that never earn XP.
- Choose roles that never earn XP.
- Turn the anti-spam protection on or off.
Every button, menu and form re-checks permissions and your plan when it is used, so a leaked or old panel message can't be abused. All numbers are validated, with clear errors if something is out of range.
Role rewards that actually work
- If a member jumps past a reward level, they still get every role they have earned.
- A Keep earlier rewards toggle decides the style. On: members collect every reward role. Off: only the highest reward is kept and lower ones are removed.
- Problems like a deleted role or missing Manage Roles are reported to your audit log once, at the level where it happens, instead of repeating forever.
XP cooldowns and anti-spam
This is the part that was tightened the most.
- The cooldown is only used up when XP is truly awarded. A blocked message doesn't cost anyone their next award.
- Several messages sent at the same instant can no longer award XP more than once.
- Bots, webhooks and system messages never earn XP.
- Anti-spam ignores:
- bursts of 8 or more messages in 10 seconds (then a one minute pause)
- the same message repeated within 5 minutes
- keyboard mashing like "aaaaaa" or "lololol"
- messages that are only mentions, custom emojis or links
- messages shorter than your minimum length
- An XP multiplier from 0.1x to 5x makes events and boosts easy.
- Cooldown is capped at one hour, and every setting is cleaned up on load, including values saved from the website dashboard, so a bad value can never break leveling.
- Leveling is still a Premium and Ultimate feature, and XP is still per server.

π Shark Blog
The blog was already fast and server-rendered. This update makes it feel like a proper publication.
Blog home
- A new masthead with a live stats line (posts, topics, latest date) and a gradient headline.
- The featured post is more prominent, and cards are cleaner with a soft cover fade and a small animated Read cue.
- Search (press
/to jump to it) and category filters work exactly as before, including links like?c=security.
Reading a post
- A breadcrumb (Blog / Category) and an author byline with the Shark avatar, date and reading time.
- A table of contents that follows you down the page on desktop and collapses into a tidy toggle on phones.
- Click-to-copy heading links: hover any heading and copy a direct link to that section.
- Code blocks get light syntax highlighting (comments, strings, numbers, keywords, function calls) and the Copy button you already had.
- Callouts for notes, tips and warnings now carry a small icon and a tinted background.
- Quotes, lists, tables and images got polish: better spacing, colored list markers and a subtle hover on images (click still opens the full-size viewer).
- The reading progress bar stays at the top.
After the post
- Copy link, Share (phones) and Post on X buttons.
- A "Keep your community protected" card that links to Shark.
- Newer / Older navigation, then three related posts.
- A back-to-top button once you scroll.
What did not change
- Posts are still rendered on the server, so they load instantly, work without JavaScript and look right when pasted into Discord.
- The security policy, the RSS feed, the sitemap and owner-only publishing are all untouched.

π‘οΈ Security and Server Protection
Earlier parts of this project, all kept working and all still on the same Shark panels.
Anti-raid and anti-nuke
- Much faster and smarter detection that looks at many signals at once: messages, joins, bans and kicks, permissions, roles, channels, webhooks, integrations, emojis, server settings, profiles, spam, pings and audit logs.
- The attacker is punished first, then Shark removes malicious webhooks and integrations, then sends the warning.
- Paranoid Mode for servers that want the strictest protection.
- Sentinel auto-lockdown triggers at a threat score of 85. Trusted users are never punished or logged.
Restore system
- Channels, roles, permissions, categories and settings come back in their original category and order, with no duplicates, and quickly.
Announcements and AI
/shoutand/announceare merged into one command that keeps everything useful. Webhook announcements now ping roles and users properly.- Shark AI is smarter and knows the current command list. New AI commands were added to
/help,/imaginewas removed, and/serversshows the total members and server count.
Dashboard and QOTD
- The dashboard connects to the bot and is tested, with QOTD support.
- Setup and AIO panels use the Components V2 look with Shark's own emojis.
Shark Blog access
- The blog at blogs.sharkapp.lol is owner-only, tied to the same Discord login as the dashboard. Only owners can create, edit, publish and delete posts, with categories, images, search and dates.
