Overview

Shark links your Roblox group and your Discord server together. Members verify once, and from then on their Discord role tracks their live Roblox group rank automatically. On top of that sync, Shark ships a full moderation toolkit, anti-raid and anti-nuke protection, DM-based modmail, categorized event logging, leveling and a server economy, and an AI assistant — all configured entirely with Discord slash commands. The dashboard and core server tools are free; paid plans add higher limits and premium features.

Getting started

1. Add Shark to your server using the "Add to Discord" button — it requests the permissions it needs for moderation and role management.
2. Verify yourself by running /verify in Discord. Shark gives you a one-time code.
3. Add the code to your Roblox profile's About Me section.
4. Confirm it with /confirmverify — Shark checks the code against the live Roblox API and links your accounts.
5. Optional: link your Discord account on the website's Link accounts page too, so your connection status is saved and visible there.

Verification & rank sync

Once a member is verified, Shark keeps their Discord role matched to their current Roblox group rank automatically — no manual updates when someone gets promoted or demoted in-game.

/rank

Checks or sets a Roblox user's group rank directly by username, with autocomplete for role names as you type. No linked Discord account is required to use it — but if that Roblox account is linked to someone in your server, their Discord role updates at the same time.

/promote Premium/Ultimate

Takes a whole promotion log — one line per person — and reports success or failure per line, instead of running /rank one at a time.

Join request handling

Verified members can be auto-accepted into your Roblox group. Everyone else waits for a human to review the request.

Moderation

The standard toolkit, with role-hierarchy checks so members can't act above their own rank:

Every action gets logged with a case number you can look up later with /modlogs — including anti-nuke responses, so there's always an audit trail.

Anti-raid

Detects a sudden spike in joins and can lock the server down automatically, holding brand-new accounts until it's clearly not an attack.

Anti-nuke

Detects dangerous mass actions — deleting channels, mass-banning members — and automatically responds, stripping access from the account responsible (compromised or not) before the damage spreads.

Modmail

There's no panel to post — a member opens a thread just by DMing Shark directly. If Shark only shares one modmail-configured server with them, that's where it opens automatically; if it shares more than one, they get a dropdown to pick which server's staff the thread is for, so it's never ambiguous which server they're messaging. Staff reply by typing in the thread channel — Shark relays it back to the member's DMs automatically, tagged with the server's name, and vice versa for anything the member sends afterward.

• /modmailsetup — configure the category, staff role, and log channel once (staff)
• /modmail member — proactively open a thread with someone (staff)
• /modmailclose [reason] — close the thread and save a transcript (staff), also available as a button on the thread

Advanced logging

Separate from the single audit channel set in /setup (which stays reserved for Shark's own moderation/anti-nuke/modmail notices), /logging gives you a clean, Dyno-style event log split into categories, each pointed at its own channel.

• Messages — edits, deletes, purges
• Members — joins, leaves, kicks, bans/unbans, nickname and role changes
• Server — channel and role create/delete/rename, webhook creation
• Voice — join/leave/move
• Roblox — the group's own audit log (rank changes, exiles, wall posts, and more), polled automatically and posted as clean Discord embeds

/logging status shows every category's channel, /logging set points one at a channel, and /logging disable turns a category off.

Leveling & economy

A per-server XP system (each server's levels are its own — no shared, global totals) plus a server currency to help keep members engaged — /level, /leaderboard, /balance, and /daily. Staff configure the XP rate, cooldown, and level-up announcements with /leveling, or from the Dashboard.

AI assistant Premium/Ultimate

Members can ask /ask a question right in Discord and get a straight answer, without leaving the server.

Account linking

The website's Link accounts page connects your Discord account using real Discord OAuth2 — you're sent to Discord's own login page and Shark never sees your password. Once connected, your status is saved server-side, so it still shows "Connected" if you come back or refresh instead of resetting to "Not connected".

Roblox verification isn't done on the website — it happens entirely through /verify and /confirmverify in Discord, which is also what keeps your Discord role matched to your live Roblox group rank.

Dashboard

The Dashboard page lets a server admin configure Shark without typing Discord commands. Current dashboard settings include server setup, moderation routing, AI moderation, logging, modmail, leveling, security, access and permissions, and notifications. The dashboard is free for every server and uses dropdowns for channels and roles. Sign in with the same Discord account you use in your server; the dashboard only shows servers you have Manage Server on and that Shark is already in.

Under the hood, the dashboard never touches Shark's data file or any secret directly. It calls a small internal API that the bot itself runs and protects with its own key — the bot remains the only thing that actually reads or writes your server's settings. Discord slash commands keep working exactly as before; the dashboard is just another way to reach the same settings.

Welcome messages also support an optional image or GIF URL. Add it with /welcome set image_url in Discord or through the Welcome section above.

Level roles are dashboard-only: Free/Essential can configure up to 5, while Premium/Ultimate can configure up to 10. The server API enforces those limits. The optional Unverified role is assigned on join and removed after join-gate verification. Counting stores only its channel, current count, last user and high score.

Honeypot settings can be changed from the dashboard without rebuilding the trap. Shark keeps its Components V2 warning message, live counter, punishment, moderation cases, and Modlogs/Bot Activities routing.

The dashboard groups server setup, moderation, AI moderation, logging, modmail, leveling, security, access controls, and notifications into separate sections. You can restrict Shark features by role or channel, choose where important alerts are sent, and configure automation such as lockdown, ping protection, sticky messages, and QOTD. Ultimate servers can also configure AI moderation exclusions for channels, categories, roles, users, administrators, and bots.
